Sarasota Medieval Fair
When: November 9th – December 1st
Where: Ringling Woods
What: Hear ye, hear ye! The annual Sarasota Medieval Fair will be kicking off later this month and will be jam-packed with special events every day. Be sure to come out in your best costume and browse the vendors, catch a jousting show, enjoy some live music, and so much more!
Siesta Key Crystal Classic
When: November 15th – 18th
Where: Siesta Key
What: An internationally-renowned sand sculpting competition, the Siesta Key Crystal Classic features some of the most amazing sand sculptures in the world! Come out and watch the artists work, then browse the vendor village for some refreshments and local goods.
Chalk Festival 2019
When: November 15th – 18th
Where: Venice Airport
What: The Chalk Festival just happened in Sarasota in April, but it returns later this month in Venice! Hundreds of world-famous artists will decorate the pavement with their finest creations, making the largest display of 3D pavement illusions in one place.
Arlington Park Thanksgiving Break Camp
When: November 25th – 27th
Where: Arlington Park & Aquatic Complex
What: If you’ve got a youngster out of school for the holiday break, consider registering them for the Arlington Park Thanksgiving Break Camp. Kids ages 6 – 12 are eligible and can enjoy three days of fall crafts, swimming, games, and more.
Siesta Beach Seafood & Music Festival
When: December 6th – 8th
Where: Siesta Key Pavilion
What: Celebrating its fourth year of operation, the Siesta Beach Seafood & Music Festival has quickly grown to become a community favorite. General admission is only $5 and includes access to tons of local seafood vendors, bars, a marketplace, and live music.
Lights in Bloom
When: December 14th – January 4th
Where: Marie Selby Botanical Gardens
What: In honor of the holiday season, the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens will host their annual Lights in Bloom event, which features over two million lights throughout the gardens! Walk through the magical holiday paradise, and enjoy nightly visit from Santa, arts and crafts, and tons of entertainment.
Sailor Circus Holiday Show
When: December 27th – 30th
Where: The Circus Arts Conservatory
What: Come out and support the young students at the Circus Arts Conservatory as they put on their annual Sailor Circus Holiday Show. The heart-pounding acrobatics and amazing displays of aerial artistry are perfect for audiences of all ages!
